MacDonald Floorcovering Group was established in 1998 and provides goods and services in the commercial construction
and retail fit-out industry.
The company Flooring Future Pty Ltd trading as MacDonald Floorcovering Group is a family based business. Director,
Brendan MacDonald, completed his apprenticeship in Floor Finishing and Covering in Melbourne in the 1980's and
has gained skills and experience in the industry for over 20 years.
After years in the industry, Brendan set about establishing a company set in his own principles and values. Macdonald
Floorcovering Group's philosophy is to provide the right floor covering for the right requirements at the right
price for the customer.
MacDonald Floorcovering Group is purposely not aligned with any buying group or manufacturer. This allows us to
provide an unbiased assessment of our client's requirements.
Macdonald Floorcovering Group are actively involved in providing floor covering to the retail, commercial, educational
and industrial markets. We specialize in the supply and install of vinyl flooring, carpet, rubber, linoleum and
concrete overlays. We also undertake all our own floor preparation and floor levelling needs in house.
MacDonald Floorcovering Group has built up a strong list of clients in these fields. We build on these relationships
as we see these as a foundation for the company to maintain growth. By providing a quality service at a competitive
price we assist our clients by providing minimum disruption. Thus getting back to the family business culture built
on trust and relationships.
PERSONNEL
At MacDonald Floorcovering Group, we believe our administration staff and our installation team are our greatest
asset. Family members are actively involved installation and administration of the business including Ron Macdonald,
now retired, who has over 40 years of industry knowledge and experience.
All of our installers are experienced with all types of floor coverings. We actively undertake employing apprentices,
ensuring a steady flow of qualified installers come through our business. A policy not undertaken by many of our
competitors.
We have a policy of not employing salespeople to sell floor coverings without a prior installation background.
Our policy is borne from our belief too many salespeople sell to customers the floor covering they want to sell
rather than the right floor covering for their particular requirements.
GEOGRAPHY
MacDonald Floorcovering Group is strategically based in Campbellfield, north of Melbourne. Being the gateway to
Melbourne from the north and to country Victoria. It is also close to airports, transport and logistics companies
and material suppliers. This means Macdonald Floorcovering Group have the ability to supply and install throughout
the country with a minimum of fuss and effort.
